Wonderful article! I'm Gen Z (born 1999) and I think it's overall due to social media. The society I grew up in wasn't very open-minded about queerness, yet I found people online or in real life who were very progressive.

If we can't find what we're looking for around ourselves, we can go online and research and connect. My Instagram feed is full of feminist and equality posts that promote kindness and body positivity, while my close friends are all very open about exploring their sexuality.

Internet has lots of cons, but this is definitely one of the big pros.
